Be a part of Ladyfest London ...

We are looking for people to help organize and participate in Ladyfest London 2002 and its fundraising events. We also need volunteers to work during the festival, as well as donations and sponsors.

Help run the festival

You can help plan the festival by joining one of the many committees which organise it, or you can actually work at the festival itself. If you contact the Overall Festival Co-ordinator (see Contacts page) she will try and work out how you can best help us. There's also an email list for people involved in organising Ladyfest London, to which you can subscribe by emailing Ladyfest_London-subscribe@yahoogroups.com (please note that this is not the same email list as the one mentioned on the What's New page).

Help fund the festival

Ladyfest London is non-profit-making, and relies entirely on donations and merchandising. You can help either by putting on a fundraising event (a gig, an art exhibition, a film showing, etc.) and sending us the proceeds, or else by sponsoring parts of the festival. If you are interested in putting on a fundraising event, please contact the Overall Festival Co-ordinator (see Contacts page), and then we can help publicise it. Help publicise the festival

If you work for a magazine, webzine or radio show, if you are willing to help flyer/poster as part of a street team, or if you simply have a lot of friends, you can help us publicise Ladyfest London. Contact the Press and PR Committee (see Contacts page), and they will let you know the latest information about what's going on, as well as sorting out how you can be most useful and making sure that several people aren't trying to do the same job. Perform at the festival

If you are an artist of any description - music, visual art, performance art, spoken word, film - and you are female, or you are part of a group which is partly female, then we would love to give you a chance to perform. Contact the relevant committee from the list on the Contacts page and they will let you know what to do next.
