The Gossip and Bangs cancel ...

It is with great regret that we announce the cancellation of both The Gossip and Bangs.

We have no explanation from The Gossip for their cancellation: at one point their drummer had actually rearranged her wedding in order to play Ladyfest London, but our attempts over the past month to contact them in order to arrange the details of their appearance have all failed. We do know that they have cancelled other shows in the US, so although we do not know for certain, we have to assume they will not show. Their headline slot will be taken by New York drag cabaret act Kiki and Herb.

Bangs have pulled out because of an failure on their part to organise travel to this country, even though we were paying for their airfare - they have also pulled out of all of their other UK tour dates.
